Downloaded The Witcher 3 on my Switch 2 just to upload a save so I can use it with the remaster later this month. Seems a bit excessive, but it’s the only way to ensure a useable save is available.

That Reacher S4 finale was a good way to end a superb return to form. Hopefully the inevitable S5 will continue this form, whenever that arrives.

Hang on. World of Warcraft: Forever is a new game playable with a controller & it’s *not* coming to console? What is Xbox even doing with Blizzard?
Try as I might to enjoy Project Motor Racing, it just feels like a game that didn’t consider controller handling & it’s a real problem. Some classes are nigh impossible to handle. Very much regretting buying it, at this point.
I both love & hate that even on my third playthrough, Resident Evil Requiem is still ridiculously tense whenever you play as Grace.

As exciting as these Blizzcon announcements are (nice to know they haven’t forgotten that Starcraft is a thing) they’re simply far too early. I can’t be too bothered about games I won’t see for *at least* 3-4 years.
The Switch 2 is becoming a real go-to for me. Its screen makes playing handheld a wonderful experience. Requiem is so impressive, its atmosphere still shines on the small screen! #ResidentEvilRequiem #NintendoSwitch2

I couldn’t get into Reacher S3 & never finished it, but was told to jump straight into S4 because it was miles better. 3 episodes into S4 & it’s already got me hooked.
Been enjoying the Final Fantasy Resonance demo on Switch 2. Looks lovely in handheld & the gameplay is nice & simple, which works for me as I’m not that into turn-based RPGs anymore. Probably one for me to grab on sale later. #NintendoSwitch2
Gave in to curiosity & watched Return to Silent Hill. Not only is it a terrible adaptation of Silent Hill 2, it’s generally just an awful film with bad writing, worse acting & PS1 levels of CG.

I’m trying to like Project Motor Racing but the difficulty levels are either way too easy or way too hard, there’s no in-between. The handling physics are also still too twitchy on a controller, no matter how much I try to get used to it.
Not gonna lie, the State of Play was a bit naff. Half the games looked exactly the same.
Tried watching Gamespot’s hands-off preview of the new Tomb Raider & it’s just 6+ minutes of factually inaccurate complaining.

I couldn’t decide if I’ve got slower with age, or if Halo Wars 2 is actually more difficult than when I reviewed it. Then I checked & saw my review was a decade ago so yes, I’ve definitely got slower with age.

It upsets me just how overlooked Halo Wars 2 is. Decided to replay it & was instantly reminded why it should be ranked among the best games in the whole Halo series. I don’t even normally do RTS games, but this one is so accessible too. #Halo #XboxShare
Hell Is Us is finished. It has its flaws (some areas are a proper slog) but it’s still an excellent Souls-lite with a unique take on such an oversaturated genre. If you have Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus Extra/Premium you should give it a go.
