Head like a sucked malteser.

A few from Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. Crikey charlie, it proper chucked it down on the island. A poncho is a wondrous item. We’re off to Osaka tomorrow.

They don’t exactly ease you in at Hiroshima. We walked in at the middle of a video with an older chap recalling the night. Telling us how difficult it is to cremate your own sister and the head took all night to burn fully.

I enjoyed this beer so much yesterday that I’m tempted to try a Matcha today. I’ve stayed clear of that bandwagon loads have jumped on over the last few years.

Limited photos today. Surprisingly Shibuya Crossing is just a lot of people crossing the road. You see more coming out of football stadiums all the time. Shinjuku is just people hammering their credit cards in goods called luxury (but not necessarily quality). I still love the place though.

When you’re looking to shelter from the rain and find a nanobrewery with really good ales. Then stumble across a self barbeque steak restaurant. Currently back at the room drinking craft lager (not bad) and fried squid strips (excellent). What will tomorrow bring!

We’re at that stage of holiday where I’m awake too early but my wife will sleep forever unless I wake her. We normally go somewhere hot with a balcony but I’m stuck inside and can’t get my Sky to work on my phone. No shops or bars open where we’re staying either.

It’s been a long 27 hours since our flight from London. A day of strolling around so having a quick couple of beers in the room so we’re fresh(er) tomorrow. Yes, I’m old.

I bloody love this country. To be fair a pretty cheap ticket to London and a relative fast journey, or at least that was the plan. The first train delayed but no worries as the train we’re due to catch is delayed too. Time to grab those reserved seats…apart from the fact it’s heaving and no room.
