AI for Surrogate Decision Making?!? After making decisions, many surrogates experience regret, PTSD, and depressive symptoms. But can AI do better? Guests Dave Wendler, Jenny Blumenthal-Barby, & Teva Brender. Episode bit.ly/GeriPalEp337 - hosted by Drs. Alex Smith and Eric Widera

This was a fun conversation. I've learned a lot from Dave's work on the topic of surrogate decision making. Considering the application of AI in this space adds a new twist to the conversation (although one I have a critical take on! www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....)

Having listened to the convo, I appreciate @blumenthalbarby.bsky.social bringing in Brudney’s important insights. Still so much to say, and I feel like “what would they choose” isn’t the right metric of success. It’s not even an accessible metric.
