Too much crying this morning, so we went on a photo shoot at work to distract from life.
It's been a hell of a week. Looking at huge vet bills for a dog that isn't mine, and another brain surgery in Brandt's future (less invasive but still...). So now's a good a time to mention our nerdy apparel and accessory shop: @bleachykeen.bsky.social We also do custom orders and small runs!

Up early to walk the parade with my cousin's dance studio. Obviously the boy came with us. Got a @professorshyguy.bsky.social concert tonight at The Rino, if you're in KC!! First one we've done in a long time, because of his brain surgery.
Took the baby to the vet today. He is definitely emaciated but is not showing signs of long term malnourishment, which is good. @professorshyguy.bsky.social and I took him to the pet store today to get food, treats, and toys!
Any animal rescuers have advice on how to proceed? She knows I have him but hasn't said anything else all day. He may have some neurological issues (balance, following walls, etc). He is also fairly emaciated. I'm concerned they can't or don't want to take care of him, but want to tread lightly.
