Too much Baltimore sports for the leftists and too much leftism for the Baltimore sports fans

Number of Orioles games I’ve attended per season since I started keeping track 2023: 17 2024: 15 2025: 4 2026: going for 3rd (and final?) time tonight for a work thing I am 2-0 this season - weekday afternoon game in the first week of the season and Bark at the Park when Holliday hit a grand slam

Can someone break down these back and forth trades for me, just focusing on the final outcome? I think it means we basically gave up Baker, Wells, Caleb Bodine and de Brun’s signing bonus for Baz Forret ultimately ended back with us, the pick that turned into de Brun ended back with Tampa

The Orioles aren't done selling. Right-hander Tyler Wells is being traded to the Rays, source confirms, and as @JeffPassan naturally had first. Wells has another year of team control. He has done well as a reliever in multiple situations. 2.67 ERA this year

Remember when Alec MacGillis said his kids had it as bad as enslaved Americans in the 1820s or Black South Africans living under apartheid because City College was having virtual classes during Covid while Gilman was going in-person?

I want a definite statement that the Orioles intend to compete for a World Series … ever Continuing to build for tomorrow while never having to say when tomorrow has arrived is a pretty sweet gig Can’t wait to trade more legit big leaguers for controllable assets that never amount to anything!

I want a definitive statement the Orioles intend to compete for the 2026 World Series It is time. Trading guys that could be a part of that (Baker, Urias) for 2028 lottery tickets should be over So if they package some of these guys in the offseason for MLB-ready talent, fine Otherwise, very bad

A few Ravens training camp thoughts Lamar showed up for offseason workouts and is highly energized There have been no leaked stories in the press saying anything bad about Lamar No player has been publicly shamed or forbidden from practicing because of their performance on a conditioning test

I feel like Elias and Sig attach additional personal value to their First Round picks - that these guys are special because they said so and will be very hesitant to trade them: Adley, Kjerstad, Cowser, Holliday Then again Adley is their 1st 1st rounder to get this close to free agency so we'll see

Instead of watching the Orioles I’m going to a movie about a guy whose mistaken belief that he’s smarter than everyone else, despite repeated evidence to the contrary, results in years of misery for those around him even as he survives to experience yet more failures The O-dyssey

2 tell-all books I really want to read: Behind the scenes with Harbaugh’s Ravens. What went on in that 2012 showdown with Ed, Ray and Suggs? How did things get so bad after Ray’s retirement and Flacco’s big contract? How much did Lamar hate him? The other is the untold story of Elias’s tenure
