(NO THIS IS NOT THE SAME POSTER - IT'S A NEW GROUP!) On Sunday I had the privilege to host 21 incredible people, and half of them stayed for a whopping 5 plus hours. Just a rare opportunity to be TOGETHER from different facets of the 9/11 community.

1/ This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11th. I am HONORED that the 9/11 community is trusting me to lead this massive conversation. We will discuss their loved ones, their traumas, and the innumerable efforts that so many of them work on tirelessly, to build a better tomorrow.

The 3 Mizrachi brothers each participated in this conversation thanks to their big brother Robert. He looks out for each of them, has been extremely successful as a poker pro, and really amplifies the message of peace and love.

A year ago I connected with @abbybrodyedu.bsky.social, since she would make a great guest to discuss her parenting innovations. More recently, Abby created a community called Found a Tribe, and I joined an event this week in Los Angeles, and it felt comfortable, safe, and warm.

To describe Melanie Weisner as eloquent is a total understatement. It was a pleasure having her on explaining how no matter when and where we Jews look and act, no later how we try to fit in or isolate ourselves, we will be blamed and hated for existing.

I'm still surprised every time someone learns. I've inherited my father's extremely dirty sense of humor. He's a nurse. He wears a kippah. He's so friendly. Yes, usually, and I try to be.

1/3 During my usual exercise walk, I saw virtuoso musician @johnlegend.bsky.social with his son. We stopped and had a really cool shared memory. In May 2018, we were in the Cedars-Sinai NICU with Natalia, who was 6 weeks premature.

1/ After their major house fire, my parents are finally settling into a rental. One of the most important things in a Jewish home is the mezuzah. Affixed to the right side of the doorway as you enter each room, it has a handwritten parchment that writes out our holy prayer of the Shema, within it.
