JD Davison had a good showing at training camp and in the preseason with the Rockets. He then appeared in 28 games, averaging 2.5 points and 1.3 assists in 7.8 minutes. Davison turns 24 in October. We'll see what's next for the former Celtics guard.

For those who haven't seen it, Neemias Queta spoke with Miguel Candeias of @abola.bsky.social about his four-year, $56M extension with the Celtics. "The most important thing was to know that Boston bet on me for another four years. I'll be able to continue to call Boston home all this time."

Inside this article is the reality that the probability of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown becoming teammates, with the 76ers or elsewhere, was much higher than perhaps anyone thought at the start of the offseason. But it's what history suggests lies ahead that's even more compelling.
