Played my first riftbound local today. Game was fun and people were great but idk if I can handle the frustration of losing a match due to a dumb inexperienced mistake and being unable to go home and practice about it.

heads up that one of the best pieces of media to ever exist is only 12 dollars and forty-nine cents right now that is the deal of the century if you havent played this game at this point you really owe it to yourself as someone who enjoys good things.

steam midweek deal for the video game outer wilds being 50% off and priced at only 12.49$.

VGC gamers: was playing 2 megas on the same team common last time megas were around or is this new either because new format so teams are less optimized or they cause they took out most of the good items.

So Teddy likes to see how far he can jump from the couch. Benji of course being a little brother also wants to do this. But Benji is 2 and can't really jump. So we put a bunch of pillows on the ground and he's been essentially falling off the couch onto them laughing hysterically for 15 minutes.

It's actually insane that Pokemon created champions as a way to bring new players into VGC but the only reasonable way to get the pokemon you want is by importing them from other games. Like they took out rental codes, you can't even try things without first importing mons.

Had Teddy hold the flashlight for me while I tested the RAM on my PC. He complained literally the whole time. 20 minutes later when I'm putting him to bed: "dada when you get the new computer piece can I help you put it in?".

Fascinated by how the my little pony show from the 80s doesn't acknowledge these characters are horses at all. They live in human suburban houses, sit in chairs, walk on their hind legs whenever it would be inconvenient to animate them otherwise.

The reason these software companies can lay off huge portions of their workforce and not immediately implode is those people were working on building new things. And in the AI era no one is even considering building a new thing. No progress just how cheaply can we recreate what's already there.

I'm really confused about how ATLA, a TV show that ran for 3 seasons, inspired a bunch of really cool unique flavorful cards meanwhile the Spiderman and TMNT sets based on comics that have run for decades seemingly just didn't have source material beyond the main characters.
