We can’t remember what these tomatoes are called but aren’t they an unusual colour? They’re quite small but very tasty!

Lots of butterflies this year. This one is a more unusual colour so caught my eye

Like so many town centres there are lots of abandoned shops. In Cognac someone has created these paintings to cover the windows of the long empty bookshop. (Photo on right) Sad that the bookshop closed but look what the abandoned shops next to it look like. (Photo on left)

Last night the sun looked like this. How odd, I thought. Then this morning these weird clouds appeared and the air smelled strongly of smoke. We’re 150km from the big fires near Bordeaux but the smoke has reached us!
