🎶August slipped away like a moment in time...🎶 Some major Swifties* here at the library - why not consider a philosophical or literary approach to the beloved 8th track of folklore? We've got a book for that.🎵 *(Jonathan Swift fans, we modestly propose that your time will come!)

We won gold!🏅🌱 Recently, a cross-departmental team from the Schwarzman Centre won a gold award at Oxford University's Green Impact Awards! This recognises an effort to ensure that the environmental policies and practices in the building align with the sustainability of its Passivhaus construction!

We have some new library equipment! 🥳 We've added: 🖥️10 new monitors (total now 30) 🪑3 new ergonomic chairs (total now 10) 🔌12 HDMI cables 🔌2 USB-C cables ⚡2 Lightning charging cables ☀️1 Daylight lamp Please ask at the help desk if you'd like to borrow anything or need any assistance at all! 😊

If the Help Desk is busy, book returns can be left in our drop box! 📚 You can find it near the Help Desk, beside the Self-Issue Machine. (Though if your books are requested or overdue, it's best to bring them to the desk so we can get your account cleared ASAP!)

It's that time of year again... vacation loans are back! 🏖️📚🧳 Any Humanities Library loans you borrow from now on will be due back on Tuesday 13th October - so you can take them home without worrying they'll go overdue! And don't worry, if you're staying in Oxford, we will be too 😎 See you soon!
