I am so grateful to everyone who joined the struggle in our campaign. I’m proud of what we did together. Let’s keep going in the movement to win an Arizona we can afford, an America free of ICE’s cruelty, and a world where genocide never happens.

Super proud to be canvasing for a good candidate that is of the people and for the people rather than shady interests... I don't have a lot of free time, but I've been able to visit ~150 homes and thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet some people in my neighborhood. Its not scary, join the fight!

Disapointed I missed Tempe Juneteenth block party yesterday, but kind of have to lay low after waking up in a hospital on the 18th under the the unknown person identity of Charlie226... I'm alive without any obvious long term consequences. So, I think I'm blessed!

We have an incredible problem: too many donations for our mutual aid hub and not enough shelves! We’ve outgrown our current setup, and we need to adapt to keep up with need, especially as we help candidates across the country adopt this model.

Mental Health awareness month was lived not just observed… The mantra for me has been “this too shall pass” and even when it is hard to believe, we all know it’s true because it always does…

I had a good day, went to the healthy living conference and later went to a local distillery to see a RAtM tribute band and there was a brown man wearing a MAGA hat, which couldn’t be more ironic, but it didn’t trigger me and I had a great time; progress!

Well, just finished a 5 hour adventure on my bike. I went all over but specifically visited parks on Easter. The majority of parks in well off neighborhoods were empty, but thousands gathered in lower mid communities. They might have money and family but they definitely lack REAL culture!

To say that I almost fell apart in church today is an understatement. They did this thing where they give you a stone to put all of your ills into, deposit it into water take a clear stone and grab a random message from a bag; I got this!

I didn’t see all the performers and there were a bunch great ones, but the Aztecs drum/dance ceremony was my favorite!

One of the best things about my new hood is that there is literally always something going on within walking or light rail distance. Excited for the upcoming drum show on this list!

Killing some time between appointments. I found a shady spot and wonderful waterfall to enjoy!

Out for a ride and I stopped at the Tempe Arts Center patio/bar, they were having a pride pageant, bunch of extravagant people and a sweaty cyclist (me) standing in line for drinks. Super nice people and they are all happy as shit; no wonder they are hated… lol

I’ll post about the alt festival later, but on my way back, I saw this “pickup” mini soccer game going on in the park. I want to get in better shape so I can join in! It’s pure fun not rigid in any way!

I just finish my “build a bike” Saviours in Tempe Arizona. Absolutely amazing experience, they are all truly amazing people, and it was a 12 hour process spread over 3 day that injected SO much joy into my life!!! Highly recommend everyone support this non profit organization!

It feels poetic that I randomly wound up with the kids Defender Pokémon card. Johnny Cash has always been my spirit animal and like him, I stand with those that cannot to defend themselves. How unfortunate that the insanity of this world has turned a respectful trait into a liability…

I spent a lot of time watching pigeons today. I’ve always hated them because they make a mess and seem stupid as can be. I realize now, I just didn’t see/appreciate their simple nature. I failed to really look and as a consequence allowed negativity into myself; I need to stop doing that…

I really cannot say enough good things about bikesaviours.org build a bike program. I got 5.5 hours of expert coaching and building a bike from donated parts for $125! The cheapest new bike at Walmart for my height and weight was $370. Plus, they are truly AMAZING people!!!

Today is a rough one! Sitting at this fountain helps a little, but about as much as gauze on a bullet wound. Better than nothing though…

Wish I took a picture, but this morning I watched a little girl (at most 3) struggle to push a cart 2.5x her height. I was far enough away not to realize it was mostly empty, but close enough to see a vivid metaphor of life. That observation made her mom smile & was the most precious gift of my day.

Kind of having a rough day because I REALLY wanted to attend Unity of Tempe service today, but based on how I handled their prayer Zoom call, I’m just not convinced I can keep myself composed. I watched their YouTube and found my new favorite poem: Desiderata

Well, today was interesting… I finalized the bulk of my networking virtualization equipment, had a great job interview, and got quite tossed celebrating at a nearby Mexican food place. They nailed the crispy open face cheese crisp but actually stuck too much red chili/beef on it.

Losing a lot of momentum and morale for this new adventure since my back has been out for the last 2.5 days. My preferred future employer is also making it very complicated to get an interview despite telling me I’m a perfect candidate… *sigh*

New apartment is a little musty, I bought my first scented candles. Caramel and Bourbon smells pretty good to me! Is this growth? IDK…
