A rusting turf train and the old narrow gauge tracks, piled up at the edge of the new Cloghan Lake 5km walk on Noggusboy Cutaway Bog. Industrial cutting has ceased here and the bog is now being rehabilitated. Was alive with butterflies, birds, moths and grasshoppers yesterday...

⚠️ Potentially upsetting sound here - sounds like an animal being predated. Anyone hazard a guess at what I'm hearing? I'm thinking that my regular garden fox or a nearby pine marten caught a hare or rabbit. I was out with the dog in the night and it was insanely loud, but all over very fast.
