I like painting!

I always have fun hearing people say my name. Most people pronounce it as Row-Burr-Toe which is close, but no cigar. The proper pronunciation is Ho-Bear-Toh. But this makes me wonder how much I'm butchering other people's names without knowing! Names are fun!

Am I dumb for not photobashing or using 3d? I really like painting all the textures and details, but I wonder if I'm not just shooting myself in the foot work-wise. It's harder than people think to turn a passion into work, in my opinion.

I'm starting to get afraid of how used I've become to use .psb instead of .psd for all of my works. Everything is getting too big now! Huge files galore!

Trying out a lighting scheme and some early color exploration. All in all I think this coming along just fine. I honestly can't understand anyone who would want to outsource this experience to AI. It's like building a robot to eat your pie while you sit on the cuck chair.

Have we had any new actually useful technology lately? I'm always afraid of being nostalgic or just angry, but I feel like I haven't seen anything worthwhile in quite a while. I miss being impressed by technology, everything is just boring lately.

The more I think about AI the more I see parallels to the concept of an idiot god. A agglomeration of information and knowledge without an inkling of understanding. Just a sea of lies and truths regurgitate by a stupid "entity" incapable of differentiate between them.

I think this guy would look cool as a puppet. If only I had the knowledge to do that. Welp, at least I can fake it in 2D

Can we catch a break? Cryptocurrency, NFTs, covid, AI, prediction market... It has just been bad news after bad news. It's getting harder and harder to have any hope for the future. I'm tired. What's next?

AI is pseudo science. Just like the new age advocates didn't understand shit about quantum mechanics but declared themselves experts and tried to shoehorn it in everything, techbros believe to have unraveled the mysteries of the mind and recreated it. Bullshit.

There's no intelligence in AI. AI doesn't learn, doesn't understand, doesn't perceive, doesn't intend. Someday there might be actual artificial intelligence, but we are still eons away from it. All we have right now is human arrogance and a text prediction software that requires hundreds...

It's hard to know if people actually like when I paint these weird things that I find interesting. I could be way more popular painting popular things, but I don't like painting them. I like new stuff, things I haven't seen before. I like to paint weird stuff.
