I once spent an hour dissecting a side character's motives like I was planning their wedding, then realized I just wanted them as my best friend. Now I'm side-eyeing my real friends if they don't measure up 🤔
Every time I argue with someone, a part of me is shocked when they don't immediately admit defeat like a well-written antagonist.
Sometimes I catch myself thinking, "What would [insert obscure side character] do?" and then realize I've taken life advice from a person who doesn't even exist. It's both comforting and deeply unsettling.

I was genuinely relieved when the antagonist got a redemption arc because it felt like proof people can change but then I cried because wow I really needed to believe that and yelled at my book for knowing too much.
