making a crunchy ghostpunk TTRPG where the only limits are physics and your body, and even those can be changed

js realized that my ttrpg could do better, even if it means redoing a lot of stuff. so im gonna redo a lot of stuff. prob gonna spend a while off bsky to put all my efforts into it. i shall return in due time

im feeling conflicted abt my players. on one hand, theyre getting really creative with my weapon crafting system. on the other, they dual wield a knife and mace then kill everything in 2 hits with bleed spam

hey js finished the first version of my ttrpgs rulebook, sits at 3.5k words. pretty much done apart from art n examples, would really appreciate if anyone could read it through and gimme feedback. especially the sneaky typos, bloat or badly explained aspects. if ur interested, js send me a dm

tryna make a weapon for the tutorial, hard to make it not broken or dookie. essentially you get hit, pushed back. except they cant run away. cuz u got pushed back, you can take the heavy attack and smack their legs. cuz they got hit in the legs, they cant move. brilliant

instead of having initiative, combat in my ttrpg lets you choose when to take your turn (to an extent). wanna take ur turn, sure. if anyone else wants to and their faster, sorry but better luck next time. so basically speed maxxing and tryna smack ur enemy first is the way to go

if custom weapons isnt enough for you, there attachments you can put inside. one of the types is mechanisms: small machines which canj make bullets curve, launch you backwards, launch them backwards or whatever bs i can justify

ya gotta go fast, cuz in my ttrpg if you wanna take ur turn, better hope ur faster than everyone else who wants to. yes you can choose when to take your turn. if sadly ur not faster than everyone, you gain some fatigue (not good)

in my ttrpg when making a weapon, you start off w a handle and then add stuff onto it, llike you could add a guard, onto the guard a blade. or you can make a massive 4 part nunchuck. if none of the traditional blades interest you, why not throw a little acid grenade or find a way to firebend

frfr ghost fixers is peak, but this latest chapter has fucked my brain too hard. tfym you pull a ghost gun from another alternate universe where it's shot hit, infinitely. might consider adding smth similar cuz why not

instead of having levels and classes for progress, i wanted smth new cuz why not. now you get to learn small nuggets wisdom, real peak. for example, you might know what poisons are in this type of mushroom. or how to build a bomb
