i kinda want to see something like google daydream but for linux phones / nura (postmarketOS) i wish i knew how monado worked (i despise C from a young age) so I could work with something like that but for now its just a daydream that lives in my head

can my valve index NOT give me a heart attack after updating my OS (updated arch after dealing with SteamVR crashing in theater mode and my headset mysteriously stopped wanting to be powered)

hey people with vr headsets and steamvr go launch steamvr, set your environment to aurora, and set something into theater mode and notice the background

dear discord why the hell is automatic gain control a thing and why is it making me quiet automatically instead of letting me speak at a volume that works normally

thinking about how nintendo never had a consumer x86 based console like the mainstream chips they had was either PowerPC (GameCube, Wii, and Wii U) or ARM (Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, 3DS, DS, and the Gameboy Advance) GB, N64, SNES, and NES don't count.

i wonder if you can just stuff all 3 requirements of a vr headset into a single usb-c cable to a OCuLink port or that needs a hub inside the cable to do so.

random question but can someone help me get my hands on the system image of a steam frame so i can figure out how steamvr is running like that on the system i am genuinely curious on how steamvr runs on the steam frame i just don't have one nor a system image of one to dig around
