I managed to figure out how to do 4k screenshots finally so here we are.
I think up until about middle of Endwalker, Sarah cared about her image to a point. She hated the Boreal Witch title she'd been given, but over time she learned to stop caring and do what a Warrior of Light should do and focus on adventure while helping people.
