Boulder currently leading the pack around the Denver area, unofficially at 104° at 2PM. This is in the ballpark of the city's all-time record high set back in 1954. Likely will see temps decline through the afternoon in many areas as virga develops creating "cool" outflows #COWX

SUNDAY 3PM UPDATE: After hitting 100° earlier, Boulder has cooled off a bit thanks to some gusty virga showers coming off the terrain. Denver remains above 100° for now despite increasing clouds. Meanwhile, several cities in NE Colorado are dangerously approaching 110°F 💥 #COWx
