The transphobic EHRC guidance has (I think) come into effect today. Its clearly intended to harm trans people, but I think it will also have an unintended (?) negative impact on cis women. It will for sure encourage policing of gender norms.

UK govt is all-in on segregation of Trans people - everywhere in public from 5th August, & for children in schools from 1st September. Its unworkable too. Organisations will have to breach the Equality Act to comply - they've have had no workable guidance on how to actually do this. Its monstrous.

I've read through this. It applies from September, and provides a mandate for trans kids to be excluded and bullied by staff and students in every school in the country. I don't really know what to think. Children are just not safe in England, not with this government.
