Clearly Hegseth should be fired. He never should’ve been nominated-much less confirmed-and his disastrous record belies his incompetence Problem is, Trump tends to double down in scenarios like this. And while Democrats might respond by impeaching Hegseth, there won’t be enough votes to remove him
