My tinfoil hat theory is that 2xko is NOT project L. It's an unrelated project, and that the real project L was internally killed by riot against the wishes of the developers about eight years ago.

I like fish, trading cards, software and business.
If you have cat scratches on your hand, people think you have a fussy kitty and might relate. If you have sea anemone stings, people think you do meth.
I feel like pokemon is overall a less compelling game if you try to force it to be difficult, and this incidentally connects to the topic of games as art.
Is there any one person that has the knowledge to explain why printers (generally) dont work? Or is this a Warhammer thing where genuinely no one person knows?
Remembering overhearing a guy talk about the healthcare ceo and overhearing "It was STILL murder." Like that was meaningful. Guys, we solved morality. It's whatever the government enforces right now. And if nonviolent protest doesn't work, that's just tough nuggies :)
No shade against the passionate people that worked on (or were poached for) this. But Riot management is either majorly incompetent and coasting off of their unlimited capital from winning the moba lottery, or the company leaders don't really care about games. Probably both.
2XKO Active Development Will End in December 2026 www.riotgames.com/en/news/2xko... -Servers will remain on beyond 2026, and 2XKO will be playable on all platforms -'We're unlocking all champs. We’re also bundling most cosmetic items, and refunding all money spent in 2XKO on or before August 20'
This is not good for their branding. I know the designers and artists aren't pushing for this. I can't imagine this even benefits the bottom line of the developers. It's painful to see joy and art sacrificed like a baby goat to appease the indifferent god of corporate mismanagement.
Whenever a YouTube video does a "full disclosure, this part was AI." I leave a comment saying I clicked dont recommend channel and immediately close tab. They always respond, sometimes with "sowwy, next time I wont..." Bitch, you can delete that part and reupload.
Ranking the big three in terms how how predatory and anti-consumer they are in ascending order. Pokemon (About a hundred blank spaces) Mtg (Ten blank spaces) Yugioh
I've worked with talentless "idea guys" before. Their pattern is: 1. Come up with "ideas" (random words with no value) 2. By chance, somebody with skills may create and implement a plan (an actual idea) that aligns with it. 3. Idea guy demands validation. Fucking parasites
Mainline pokemon games are lower quality than fan projects, cost $70, and are still selling the same game twice long after the death of cheap handhelds. I implore you to broaden your horizons if you think the franchise is still a good value.
Maybe a hot take, but backyard cat/dog breeding should be criminalized. The way the public churns out animals with no care for the overall impact this practice has on the life of the average animal is inhumane. There's nothing cute about "cat distribution system."
I hate microsoft. I hate it so much. Anything I've written for ms specific platforms is a piece of tech debt now. Excel is trash and locks you into a trash and so locked in. If I wrote my apps as literal warcraft maps, they would be more portable.
Today I walked into a little Aldi to buy a handful of groceries and imagined my life would be better if more things were a little smaller.
It's heartbreaking how much damage using discord as a wiki has done to availability of game information.
Im really trying to understand what makes dive kick so much cooler than fantasy strike. Is there a lesson to be taken from this?
Everything seemed like it's working. But a new feature revealed enough black mold in the code that I forked it to "fucked" and decided to keep some of the systems and scrap everything else.
What's stopping a company from making a usb controller that feels like a dualshock? Every one I hold, the buttons feel different. Is the design patented? Expensive? What is so hard about this?
I did not expect this to be good. The individual characters feel like enough effort was put into them to carry an action platformer by themselves.
Crazy idea. Online game with in-game chat based on a dictionary like pokemon mail. the user would see words in their language. See if it organically evolves a pidgin grammar.
Neptunia making piracy the bad guy trying to end gameindustri was maybe the widest misprediction possible.
Effective strategies for interviewing job applicants: 1. Be upbeat and high energy, then after a random question go "oh..." and change tone for the rest. Give no indication why and deny it.
The relationship americans have with cats and dogs is really fucked up if you think about it. They need to be more regulated, especially in the south.
Gambling on pokemon packs for chases is not really a hobby, or a "community." Nobody should feel even a hint of remorse for selling their property to the highest bidder. You dont need a $200 1>/case greninja. The root cause of all this is predatory gacha practices from tpci.
Stardew valley board game is the best selling board game in my business by a mile. Unfortunately, i would rate it below average out of games i've played.
All I want is a * dualshock style shell * USB c charging/connection and bluetooth * Good feeling buttons. Not big squishy fisher-price d pads. Why is this so difficult? I want to abandon sony hardware without destroying 10+ years of muscle memory. my hands are too old to do it all over.
Nashville hot chicken is awful. No shade against the locals that like it, but if you're visiting and aren't conditioned you'll most likely find it disgusting. It's basically fried chicken drenched in oil. if you tried it and loved it, happy for you. If you didn't, you're not crazy.
I'm on twitch trying to watch my favorite game, bingbongle. I see huge streamer playing it as a beginner and click. "Try bongling" i type, sincerely excited and feeling helpful. "Bongling? Talk like normal person. Somebody needs to make fun of you for assuming I care." The streamer man says.
Long lost battle at this point, but "pokemon A + B version" is completely indefensible in the current year. Absolute anti-consumer filth.
