there are many reasons why i'm proud of the boys for not submitting but the main one is that i know how important winning a grammy has been to them, & to realize they are already so much bigger than a grammy, to let go of a dream in favor of prioritizing their self worth & values, that's so amazing.

The grammies added a separate category for Asian pop for the Exact same reason women were segregated into their own sports btw

I'm so proud of their decision to not enter the Grammys this year. Knowing how much they wanted a Grammy in the past, it also breaks my heart. It must've been a difficult decision for them. But making a stand against a ridiculous category, against racism is important, so bravo BTS.
