Just an FYI that a week from right around now (Wednesday afternoon), we will experience another partial solar eclipse. For Spain/Iceland, this will be a total eclipse. Here in Eastern Canada, we will only see a partial eclipse w/ 40-60% of the sun being blocked, depending on where you are.
Went out onto the deck at 3am to try to photograph this whole “Falcon striking the Moon” business. I took as many photos per second as my camera would allow from 3:32am until 3:38am. I dunno, man. If it’s in there, I don’t see it. Anyway, here’s a stacked image using ~half of the frames captured.

Well, I got all suited up and geared up for the eclipse, but – as was foretold by the great prophet Windy dot com – the moon sank into an incoming wall of clouds before I got any pics. 🔮 ANYWAY, at least it’s March Break and I have a sick kid. 😃😀🙂🫠
