BREAKING: Autumn Road Fire: Autumn Lane: 3,300 acres. Fire officials tell me there is an increase in fire behavior. As a result a NEW UPGRADED Level 3/has gone out. Little Spokane River to the West, Mil Road to the East, and Fairwood Lane on the South. LEAVE NOW.

UPDATE: Old Trails Fire 3,481 acres Autumn Lane 3,333 acres Fair View 914 acres This information comes following an infrared flight. Autumn Lane is being identified as most active currently.

AM UPDATE: 7:40 -The Old Trails Fire is estimated at around 3,500 acres -As many as 600 structures may have been that’s according to the California Interagency Incident Management Team 7 which will assume command of the fire at 9:00 a.m.

Today was a really tough start to wildfire season. We had near 4 wildfires erupt in the INW within the same 3 hours. I watched homes burn in Spokane County today. I am thinking of those people and the firefighters who stood there to do what they could. Here are some cell phone photos.
