It's really cool that Capy Castaway get covered by CP24, but the interview itself was yet another reminder of how far behind mainstream outlets are in their video game literacy. Like why was Roblox brought up at all, and it should've been them, not Saffron, walking the audience through what Steam is

First off, what a cool looking game. Can't wait to play. Second, the interview where the game's creative director is asked "on Steam? What's that?" "it's a purchase game?" and "is there any chance it could go on Roblox?" is a real snapshot of where gaming's at.

Among the many, many awful things associated with the closure of this EA acquisition, I'm especially worried for all of the company's Canadian studios. For context, they have teams in Edmonton, Montreal, Vancouver, Victoria and Toronto.
EA deal officially closes, now owned by Saudi Arabia and partners
It remains to be seen what impact this will have on the company's several Canadian studios, including BioWare.
