This Memorial Day weekend I'd like to remove my hat and lower my gaze for those of you who have served or who have family who have served. Appreciate y'all. You probably know someone who deserves a moment of appreciation for their service. Take the opportunity and let them know you appreciate them.

i’ve collected all these clothes and hoodies and… stuff… and now I think my whole wardrobe could be distilled down to 10 true classic t-shirts, 5 pairs of VRSC slim pants, two #squad hoodies, and countless hats. who knew a side benefit of losing 76 lbs would be more closet space and fewer decisions.

you can shade me all you want but I am straight up about to use my NOBL luggage for the first time since I [inadvertently and it’s a LONG story] bought one for every gaster up in this piece. and I get to use mine for the first time. trust me you have no idea how thick this plot gets.

I cannot stress this enough. you’ll thank me later. find a person with whom you jive, but like, will never probably actually work with. then start a conversation with them that’s all gif, no words. I have someone like that at work. each time we ping each other it seems like it makes us both happier.

issues say to one, "i think this needs to be done." pull requests say to one, "i thought this needed to be done." both are valuable forms of feedback. one feels a little more contributory than the other, but both are a lot better than dead air.

I hope you have one of those moments where you and everyone else know the same thing, and you know it at the moment you need to know it. knowing you’re in a cosmic moment is a fuck-ton better than realizing you missed it. so pay attention. you’ll have your moment. grab it when you do.

I think art might be controlling at least one moment, for just a moment, everything in your blast radius that *can* feel, feel precisely what you want them to feel. all at the same time, and without anyone needing an apology for it, or, everyone needing one. as long as everyone feels it. that’s art.

Camper shoes are my goto. really weird long story as to why. but they even *sound* quality. I just stand here in the kitchen when no one is stirring shifting back and forth, enjoying the sound of quality.

a trend i notice with folks: trauma seems like a contributor to activity and resiliency. those who stress, act. those who have stressed and acted out the lack of desire to continue to feel the wrath of trauma seem to be able to "do more with less, for longer." also I'm fine. this is a discussion.

if i'm ever lucky enough to make a 3-chord, 9-bar loop that's so amazingly ubiquitous at least 65% of the corporate call centers you'd call into have purchased it as their hold music... please. accept my apology.
