Let's do a #TFOTSnip snippet here too. Does he bring her along to the wedding of lady Zaiah and the diplomatic talks that will happen too for her capacities or does he need her as an emotional support diplomat on the mission? (The answer is probably 'yes')

‘But I was thinking of somewhere closer, just across the strait.’ ‘You want me to come along to Anka? As a diplomat?’ ‘Half as a diplomat. Half for something else, though it still has to do with Yanipol. And the date isn’t set yet; it depends on when they get married.’ ‘Who’s getting married?’ ‘Zaiah Ansifer and Jano. They’ve been engaged for far too long, actually they've been living together for ages, but they never managed to organize the actual wedding. I’d like to make it to the official ceremony in Anka City at the very least —we could stay at Ansifer Castle then— and, if possible, the small wedding in the temple in her village, too.’ ‘That’s hardly diplomatic work, though.’ ‘True, but in between, there are a number of official conversations I need to hold with Lady Penda, with local representatives of the Kerbor Order, and with a few Yanipolite envoys coming specifically for the wedding. Economic and political matters, rather important too. And I’ve found that sort of thing goes better when you aren’t alone. Zaiah won’t exactly be available at the time, and she’s the one I’d normally ask when I'm in Anka.’ Shandri looked up from her beer. ‘Me? Aren’t you overestimating me? Can’t you just ask one of the usual diplomats?’ He sighed. ‘I don’t think I’m overestimating you; besides, you sometimes have insights from the common people that the others lack. Of course, Rhodo di Garg will be there, and others, but I’d like to have someone with me whom I feel personally at ease with.’

For the #WIPsnips It's complicated here. Bindar and Andra, technically both highborn aristocracy, are looking for Shandri in the inn of her parents, but she isn't there, Her father Berno is panicking inside seeing Bindar mingling incognito with the 'radical comrades', but he just enjoys himself.

‘There is news that isn’t being widely publicized: the revolution in Azarath has taken a different turn. The beheading machines were set ablaze in the capital’s main square, but not before the leaders of the first wave of executions were punished themselves,’ said Bindar, lifting his pint. ‘The people don’t know what’s good for them.’ ‘But it’s for the people that they’re doing it. And now they’re supposed to be organizing votes for new leaders. They’ve realized that the bloodshed didn’t make anyone popular. Apparently, there weren’t many people left capable of organizing anything after the entire ruling class had been slaughtered. The people went hungry for three winters in a row, and the borders remain closed.’ Berno looked at Andra. ‘He’s certainly well-informed. I spoke to someone from Azarath not long ago who said that a rebuilding is slowly getting underway now that they’ve done away with the executioners and their machines.’ ‘That’s interesting information,’ mused Andra. ‘But we actually came looking for Shandri. Bindar has a business proposal for her, though it’s still unformed. And I’m afraid he’s a bit distracted by his revolutionary comrades right now, and doesn’t realize just how much he’s drinking. I think I’d better take him home…’ She didn’t wait for his reply but walked over to him. ‘Comrade, that’s enough beer for now. I can see it’s interesting, but we aren’t going to find the person we’re looking for here tonight, and we have school tomorrow.’ Bindar looked at her, then at the clock. He turned to the young comrades. ‘She’s right. And if you’re first-years with classes tomorrow, I’d do the same.’ The boys looked at him strangely, as if he were speaking a language from another world, and once he had gone, they resumed their conversation as if nothing had changed.
