I used to have major phone call anxiety. I don't know why, but I was terrified of picking up and making calls. I can confidently say that such anxiety is gone. Pick up the damn phone!

I have two alarms. One of the initial time (my schedule has me waking up at random hours) and one five minutes afterwards. Both are birdsong, but the five-minute one vibrates so much, it shakes my phone XD

Kitty! This gal was painted for a commission and is based on Panthera spelaea (a cave lion). Painting a mammal definitely stretched the artistic muscles a bit (and the fantasy setting stretched them further still), but it was incredibly fun making little meow sound effects while I was painting her

I do that for homework lmao. It works extremely well. Yes, I get plenty of typos, but those are easy to edit out. I've also done that for fictional writing. It's a decent method when you're stuck. I'll share another one, and that's text-to-speech. A lot of writing softwares come with ol' David.

I just learned something new: I stop overthinking my writing if I close my eyes and just type. Not being able to see what I type, and instead just focusing on putting down the words I channel in my mind, I wrote 600 words in 10 minutes. This is good.

Same sad tale of father ditching me as a kid, so I relied on a fictional robotic alien to show me what a good man looks like.
