Basically just Pam from 'Gavin and Stacey' if she was from the north. Usually found at a gig.

Last night I went out and did musical theatre karaoke with my choir pals and it was actually so nice. There's another social event on Tuesday which I said I might not be able to make and they all started convincing me to go so now I guess I'm doing that too!

The EBU: Eurovision is a contest of broadcasters, not governments. Also the EBU: Yes, there was a government backed influence operation, but they only came second so that's fine.

Answering @gjkooijman.bsky.social , Martin Green dismissed today's NYT article as 'an article about who did NOT win ' and emphasised that JJ won 'fair and square'. He also told Aftonbladet that he didn't recognise the Spanish televote figures released this morning.

The New York Times has investigated Israel's Eurovision campaign and the EBU's response. Findings include: 🔹 2025 voting data was not fully investigated 🔸 Broadcasters faced pressure from the EBU and Israeli diplomats 🔹 EBU lawyers stated Israel could have been excluded in 2026

Having stepped back this year, I was anticipating feeling really weird in the run-up to #Eurovision week but instead, I: - Joined a monthly book club and started a reading challenge - Joined a new choir where I'm already feeling that I've found my people - Put my energy into my relationships

Had the most wholesome day playing games and laughing hysterically with my friends. Now just to make it through this week before a well-earned week off!

Reason 357 I can't wait to pass my test: Bumping into colleagues on public transport when you just want non-verbal headphones time before/after work.
