I literally just got home. I wanted to sleep in my own bed, but I couldn’t even do that. I’m staying with a family member who is not great for my mental health after a while. I can’t. I don’t know what to do.

I got an email from my landlord saying that there was “some” water that had leaked into my apartment, and that it was taken care of. It was not. There’s rust stains all over my floors, I’m so. I don’t even know. I took pictures of all the damage.

I’ve already missed the first payment of $200, and I’ve tried to negotiate with them—no luck. They claimed I never switched to my international plan before coming over here, which is a lie, and so the first half of my trip was charged international fees. Once I pay this off, I’m fucking switching.

UPDATE: I have gotten enough for my luggage 😭 thank you all so so much. Bad news, is that my bill increased. Never ever ever ever EVER sign with Verizon. I’ve adjusted the Kofi goal accordingly. If I don’t pay at least the payment on the 26th, they’ll shut my phone off.

LONDON UPDATE: Long story short, I had to stay in London an extra week because my allergies gave me a wild ass viral infection so I wasn’t fit to travel. I’m now leaving in a couple of days, but my funds have completely depleted. I have to pay for my bags AND pay off this nightmarish phone bill.
