We wrote a prompt to create a Writing Partners that simulates Dr. Dickens. A thought I had at #NCTE24: Businesses are using customized AI platforms, not the commercial chatbots. Don’t our students deserve the same customized support? Using the tech companies tools doesn’t prepare them for the future, it just introduces them to another attention grabbing trap.
Am I the only Black person interested in AI and the ELA classroom? Oh no, another someone is in this room that looks like me. Who’s teaching across our country and what is the interpretation of the skill? #NCTE24
