Been recording game music directly from the game onto cassettes and CDs since the NES days, did a game music podcast for nine years, and let me say for the 100th time that Ys VIII Sunshine Coastline is one of the true all time goated tracks. Just untouchable

Hard to express how impossibly cool Double Dragon was in the 80s. Title screen music on NES rewrote my DNA, led to a lifetime of VGM love. River City Ransom was like a mini GTA, felt like such a huge world with so many systems and things to explore. Foundational work. RIP and way too young!

Found the old Toys R Us I worked at from 99-04 in MS Flight Sim. 1 - can’t believe the logo is so clearly visible! But it obvi hasn’t been a TRU for about 10 years 2 - the silent hill low poly aesthetic is really selling the lich state of this building IRL lol
Death Stranding 2 plat took about four months, lots of Rivals throughout the year.
MK remains my favorite video game movie to date. Knowingly cheesy when it wants to be with solid choreography, amazing sets, great cast, and formative 90s soundtrack. It’s not perfect but it is FUN No small part of its excellence is thanks to Cary’s intensity. RIP!

Finished Clair Obscur, what a game. Third act is something else, resolution of the story truly thought provoking, complicated, memorable. It’s in the same league as FFX for me, battle system maybe even more so
Haven’t bought LINE stickers in 6-7 years, but this new Chip & Dale set was too good to pass up
