Star Wars Galactic Racer doing the impossible for a racing game in 2026 by not having all track designs feature 17 lane wide roads. You love to see it.

video games. irish whiskey. sport. beyblade in the big 2026.
I will not go for a 'big walk' in a video game. If I want to go for a 'big walk', I will simply emerge into reality and go for said 'big walk'. I will not be gaslit into believing that going for a 'big walk' is a 9/10 experience because we're that desperate to prove games are art.
Disgaea got to be top 10 underrated series of all time. Thank you PSM2 for opening my eyes all those years ago.
I miss the wide spread of exclusives on PlayStation. PS3 era felt like the perfect blend of polish and variety 🫠
Some might consider the best Konami series lore to be in Metal Gear Solid; but the streets know it's actually the hidden story in PES 2010 about how Messi killed Fernando Torres in between the PS3 and Wii releases of the game. The more you know.
Gran Temurismo (aka: Assoluto Racing) is out on Switch today. It sort of plays (and looks) like a forgotten early PSP version of Gran Turismo Polyphony put out on release of the console. Shame about the monetisation but not a bad punt at £14.
eFootball Kick Off! is quality. How did the Switch 2 get the best football sim in about 10 year...? So much better than standard eFootball. Here's some silky football with a classic fumble at the end.
car guys will make the most wholesome and honest content you've ever seen and didn't realise you needed
Oh, Bluesky restored my account again after it was compromised. Hello everyone.
Why didn't anyone tell me how good The Amazing Digital Circus is btw? What a banger.
Racing game fans care more about banking future video essays on "underrated racing game x/ racing game you've never heard of" than supporting original ideas

Screamer hasn't been a hit out of the gate, with middling word of mouth and a very low player count for a new release. A sign of the times in terms of the appetite for full-price AAA arcade racing games that aren't Horizon; or a confused release strategy from Milestone?
Sometimes when I look at my Giulia I'm just like - HOW can a car look this good and be so affordable? Honestly, trying to convince myself I'm ready for a new car but it's gonna be difficult to leave this baddie behind. Peak vehicle.
As far as Beyblade pickups go, this is definitely one of my favourites so far because of how absurd it is. Why does it exist? I have no idea.
Rave Racer is cool; but it can fuck right off with the stupid seizure-inducing Attract screen.
The fall-off of carwow is sad to see. They've just uploaded what is effectively a non-disclosed advert for a 'car investment' company under the guise of actual content and it's insanely disappointing tbh. The fact investment/shares/gambling are ruining every hobby now is demoralising.
I'll happily pay £16.99 for a ROM just to see the mald on this platform when it naturally tops the sales charts in the Eshop. That being said, it WILL face tough competition from Hentai Maids 14 and another release of that AAA Clock app.
Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen coming to Switch on Feb 27th ($19.99 each). Listed on Switch eShop in coming soon section
Playing GRID Legends on Switch 2 feels mad. I can remember playing Race Driver: Create and Race on Nintendo DS back in the day and thinking how impressive it was they managed to fit a full 3D driving game on there. Fast forward nearly 20 years and now look at what's capable on handheld.
YOUR GAME WILL START IN 10 is sending me for some reason
New intro screen for Metal Gear Solid 4 in Master Collection vol 2
Saros looks like Returnal made for people who didn't like how Returnal Returnal was. That's put a massive downer on the game for me.
Remember when people thought Xbox were going to 'win' this generation? Shit is on life support now.
The upcoming @extendti.me episodes we've recorded are a generational run of greatness imo; podcasting is so back.
