It looks like Amazon brought back mandatory arbitration. A few years ago, when mass arbitration made the process a little more fair for consumers, Amazon stopped the practice. I guess they decided it's safe to kick customers out of court again.

A point I’ve been trying to make is that post-Trump, the Justice Department won’t restore its credibility through a series of procedural reforms (re-insulating itself from the WH, etc.) alone. People will only value DOJ if it improves their lives, and that’ll happen if DOJ goes after rich criminals.

Their plan is to say as little as possible and win by default, which in their mind is the safest path that doesn't alienate anyone. This misses the opportunity to galvanize the public around important issues, and then they throw up their hands about how the voters are ignorant and apathetic

I do find it amazing that even in this moment, the Dems can't come up with some sort of "Contract for America" like language that offers an alternative to Trump. Maybe they have it, but whatever governing vision they have is lost in the noise.

Phang: The breaking news is… an order was just entered within the last hour by Judge Sullivan in my lawsuit against Todd Blanche. The reason why this is so momentous is that Judge Sullivan has pretty much said in this order, “Todd Blanche, you have now defied my orders.”
