Yeah, I can see it. An old-school slot machine style. Extra weight on the pull, the bigger the order. Groups of teens order several hundred euros worth of food for the group so they can challenge each other to pull the extra stiff lever. (The one who manages to do so gets the extra nuggets)
I'm strongly of the opinion that we need more mechanical devices in lieu of touchscreens in public spaces. Imagine being at McDonald's and turning a huge steel knob (klang-klang-klang!) to select a cheeseburger, then pulling a slot machine lever to confirm your order. That would be so cool.
