One of my favorite quirks of Opus (all LLM models?) is how they voluntarily estimate labor time, saying "Cost of this feature: Small. Half-day of...." and I'm thinking, bro... you and I both know you'll be done in 5 minutes, stop the humble brag

/me Reminds myself again that we're living through an incredible moment in our software careers, and to take a minute, lean back, and be present in the chaos that we will tell tales of in a decade or two. Every day could have moments of eureka, dread... or both, and that's a rare experience in life

I shipped 4 more videos on how different agent harnesses deal with AGENTS and CLAUDE md files. The Agentic DevOps guild has now had 8 weeks of meetups with ~40 engineers representing their teams in adopting AI in CI and platform engineering roles www.bretfisher.com/theguild

Which is more active and more authentic at #kubecon, X or Bluesky? I asked Claude for analysis of last two days. Across both, 2/3rd of posts are corporate accounts or humans promoting, with 1/3rd being genuine experiences and shared learnings. X has more posts, but Bluesky has more "real humans"

Stats of posts and people posting them on X and Bluesky for KubeCone, with this summary text underneath the stats: Verdict: X Has More Volume, but Bluesky Has More Authentic Voices
X has more raw posts (~260 vs ~190), driven heavily by corporate and bot accounts. The percentages are actually similar across both platforms — about 64–67% of posts on both are some form of marketing or corporate presence.
However the unique human voices in Category 3 tell a starker story: Bluesky had ~54 distinct humans just sharing their experience, while X had only ~32. Bluesky's Category 3 is qualitatively richer — more humor, personal observations, reactions to talks, community moments. X's Category 3 is thinner and more diluted by news-summarizer accounts and amplification bots.
One notable X-specific pattern: about 14+ near-identical tweets from different human-looking accounts all sharing the exact same Broadcom press release within hours of each other — coordinated PR amplification that has no real equivalent on the Bluesky feed.
So yes — your hypothesis holds on X too. But the ratio of authentic-to-promotional is actually slightly better on Bluesky, and the humans posting there are doing so with noticeably more personality.
