More DS9 observations: Worf's wedding episode, followed by the two-parter siege and retaking of DS9, solidified what feels different about DS9 and Voyager (which we're also watching in rough chronological order). DS9 feels like a family, like the *cast* of actors feel like a family. Voyager is a no.

As an avowed fan of both X-Force and DS9, 10/10 no notes.

Two main complaints I see, re: X-Men 97, that I think are just silly: that they're "burning through" too much source material, and that they're wasting (re: killing) too many minor characters. These, to me, are very silly complaints and feel like hoarder mentality than actual critiques.

I 100% have not changed a single goddamn thing about how I write here in the age of "AI." I write how I write. If the "AI" writes anything like how I write, it's because it stole from me. I'm gonna use any punctuation I like, and if it looks "AI"ish to you, you can go fuck yourself.

New at @popheist.com, my 2026 Fantasia Fest coverage kicks off with a review of HER PRIVATE HELL, a movie that might not win over any new NWR fans, but for those of us already in the tank, it's a hell of a time.

I recolored the whole image of Rogue, using the actual color palette available to '80s colorists. I also redesigned her logo, taking the traditional one and making it over in the style of the X-Men logo, complete with block text and that angle.
