Borkum, the new lighthouse

My take of the oldest house on Borkum, built 1813 this would have been a typical fisherman's cottage.

Cute little jumping spider I found in the garden.

There are 3 lighthouses on Borkum. The old lighthouse built 1576, used from 1817-1879. The new lighthouse, built 1817, first lit 1879 and still in use today.The third lighthouse is the electric light house, built 1890.
