Setting up a new iPad is kind of cathartic. Clean slate!
I spent some time last night shooting the Milky Way up in Acadia National Park, and dammit if I don’t already feel hooked on it! I’ve dabbled with it in the past, but recently took a course on it and applied those principles. Can’t wait to edit and print some of them!
Flying back to Boston from Austin. Happy to be leaving eleventy billion degree temps, but missing friend and colleagues.
Two nights ago, I made my first (EVER!) contacts on 12m. Licensed for almost 40 years and not one QSO until the other day. I’ve now worked about 25 countries and 10 states, all a mix of CW, SSB, and FT8. Fun times!
@duhproject.bsky.social A week after posting a note for you on Mastodon, I remembered THIS is the place you hang out on! Quick question: is Flippy Drive available now, or is it still pre-order. Their website is pretty confusing, but I heard you comment on it in a recent Pixel Gaiden podcast. Thanks!
Not looking forward to spending ~$750 for a new photo printer, all because Epson discontinued the ink for my 20-year old printer. Pfft!
Must resist the urge to place a big order with Dan’s Small parts. Must. Resist…
Starting to get a bit more active here on Bluesky. Lots of connections from other sites are coming over, making this a more engaging community. Guess I should update my profile photo and bio, huh?
