I am currently suffering with a brain tumour. Three times recently I’ve need to make minor adjustments to commitments. In all three cases the response was nah, tough luck. It appears that discretion and compassion have disappeared from society. Or maybe I’m learning what it’s like to be disabled.

I often wonder about priorities set by those with responsibility. A neighbour had a tree in next field blow over and is resting and threatening to bring down EDF lines. They’ve asked a tree surgeon to remove it. He says he will try to do it before Christmas! Not even sure which Christmas.
