Burnham says there is no consensus for a second independence referendum - this is not true. He 'clarified' things by saying that there was a consensus when the first referendum was granted - this is not true either. Support for indy was around 27% at that time. Labour cannot stop telling lies.

He is missing a trick, here. Just grant Scotland an indy referendum and we will leave. Then he no longer needs to worry about the existence of the true north of the UK! Additionally, a unified Ireland and an independent Wales would leave Burnham as the PM of England - matching how he sees himself.

Apart from concern over pollution, where does the energy and water to support these centres come from? They wouldn't need 'quite a lot'; they would require ludicrous amounts.

As always, when new infrastructure is environmentally damaging, Scotland is promoted as the place to put them. Not only are we being asset stripped but we are having all kinds of pollution foisted upon us as well. An independent Scotland will be a rude awakening for WM.

As predicted it follows the narrative set by BBC Scotland. The report lasting 5 minutes followed a general brief report on housing and refugee problems in England then - In Scotland!

We need to take great care here. This will lead to the indy ref denial reason changing from the generic "now is not the time" to "you are forbidden by the constitution". Burnham thinks he can just usurp Scottish sovereignty.

I feel I must be missing something. Burnham wants a new constitution for the UK. This seems to me to be an attempt to annexe Scotland completely. It is on record that WM recognises the sovereignty of the Scottish people and so I cannot see a legal route for Scotland to be colonised in this way.
