Rock and roll, jokes and out there thoughts

Happy to see Masters of the Universe getting some love on streaming. I saw it in the theater and thought it was perfect for what it was, a movie based on a child’s toy. Totally fun ride, very funny and a total homage to the history of He-Man.

Something not talked about is how like crying doesn’t always mean you’re sad, laughing doesn’t always mean something is funny. Laughing also occurs when something is really uncomfortable. So I try not to judge myself or others for laughing at what might be deemed inappropriate times.

Just watched “The Coffee Table” 2023. One of the hardest movies I’ve ever seen without being graphic. A total mindfuck of a movie and one I don’t know why isn’t talked about. Psychological horror free on Tubi.

Omg! The Pied Piper, a 1986 Czech stop motion film is a low key masterpiece. Described as savage, this brutalist piece of the smoothest stop motion retells the classic, no language required. On Tubi if you’re looking for something masterful, a bit dark and so well done.

A pretty good entry in the found footage genre, I enjoyed Hell House LLC. Dug the premise with it being a haunted house in a haunted hotel. They should have known what was up when it took place in a town called Abaddon.
