"You can have my isolation" Nah, Trent. I already have my own. "You can have the hate that it brings" Yours brings hate? Mine brings self-loathing. "You can have my absence of faith" Faith left you? Bummer. She seemed nice. "You can have my everything" Does that include your synths? Because whoa.
Monster Hunter Rise? Do I have to Monster Hunter Proof after that?
Yes. Yes, I freaking could. I had my previous job for 13 freaking years. "Would you be willing to give it up?" Get the funk out of town with that. Give me the server farm. I'll cast it into the volcano myself.
principal skinner: YES
Describe yourself in three characters. (I don't know why they're all green. I'll have to look into that.)
Describe yourself in three characters.
The shark tries to set the record straight. 🦈"My name is not Jaws! That's just the name of the movie I was in." 🧑💼"Fascinating. Can I ask you a follow-up question, Jaws?" 🦈"MOTHER F--" (static) TV station: "We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please stand by!"
let's pretend: Universal announces a screenwriting contest for Jaws 5. What's your pitch?
#TTRPG character idea: His tragic backstory is that he has no tragic backstory. His upbringing was pretty normal, and now he can't be an angsty boy like he wants to. So he's constantly endangering others, hoping they might die in front of him, so he can finally get that inciting incident he craves.
Love *and* Rockets? In this economy? I'm afraid you'll have to choose one or the other.
It's been like 40 years. You figure they'd have some finer, younger cannibals by now.
After a long time of procrastinating, I finally wrote the "About" page of my website.

"I don't find love interests annoying. Wee-oh, wee-oh, pee-oh!"
Name an annoying love interest in a film.
As much as I love Sealab 2021, I think Metalocalypse just barely edges it out. Sealab is still a very close second. RIP Harry Goz.
Name your fav adult swim show.
I'm incredibly honored and blown away to be included in the new version of VOID 1680 AM, and to be mentioned on the same page as some amazing creators. If you have VOID 1680 AM by @kenlowery.bsky.social , make sure you download the new version. If you don't have it, consider buying it.

I just got tickets to see the new Green Day movie Nimrods. It has to at least be better than KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park.
Dookie, Insomniac, and nimrod. are an amazing trilogy of "no skip" albums from Green Day. Warning is no slouch either, and the song Misery could be seen as a predecessor to the stuff on American Idiot.
What's the best three album run from a band? (the correct answer is Moving Pictures, Signals, and Grace Under Pressure by Rush, but I'm excited to learn second place)
Oh, don't worry, Rowling. I thought you were a ghoul way before Amnesty International said anything. Your reputation is unchanged.
This is why you dont try to compromise or concede anything to these horrors
Odyssey? Why do I want to go see a movie about a Magnavox video game console from the 1970s?
Stopping right before I leave a room, turning around, pointing, and singing "doompa-dee-doo" before closing the door.
Wizards of the Coast is basically saying they're afraid you might go play something else by some other publisher. So they're going to make D&D into an even bigger tent, with Star Wars and Go-Bots and stuff.
Starship Troopers: Carl Jenkins - It's Afraid
Alt: Neil Patrick Harris puts its hand on a giant alien's head, and then declares loudly "It's afraid!"

Shut your mouth, Paul. You and Meek Mahan both stunted peoples' careers for petty reasons, and you know it. It's been a meme for ages. "Even the man with three H's would be proud of the way we buried this young, promising talent."

There's this new commercial in which a woman comes home to play Pokopia on her Switch 2... undocked, like some sort of barbarian. She's got a TV right there, and she's just on her couch, hunched over that tiny screen.
I don't know how new this is. When Final Fantasy X came out, a reviewer got death threats for giving it a 9/10. The reviewer had gotten an early copy of the game. The people sending threats hadn't played it.
A big problem I have with modern "criticism" is how people now think that average means bad. Anything less than an 8/10 or 9/10 means that it is on par with something actually awful. Everything has to be either "absolute cinema" or "the worst thing ever made" with no room in between.
I'm setting up a user-generated site all about turntablism. It's a wiki-wiki-wiki-wiki.
Big Boss from Metal Gear had his moments. Wasn't exactly fond of being hung out to dry. Or the fact that his mentor was branded a traitor. He had plenty of reasons to be salty.
Name a villain who was actually right.
Me buying my Switch last year: "I'm gonna play so many open world games. This is gonna be so tight." Me this year: "I have way too many side-scrolling beat 'em ups. My Switch is like a nineties arcade."
"Woop woop! Welcome to the Gathering! Have a Faygo!"
