Lufia 2 isn't just the best Lufia game. It's so much better than the others that it looks like a mistake. There isn't a comparison that makes sense. Maybe if all the Mario games were equal in quality to Bubsy, but Mario 64 was still Mario 64. That's kind of how Lufia 2 do. #retrogaming #lufia #jrpgs

Yesterday I saw the movie about the cartoond desert dog who sued the big bad anvil company and it was exceptionally funny. SPOILERS: Like all movies, it was ultimately about friendship. (And sometimes anvils.)

Saw some discourse tonight where folks were upset that Easy Modes exist (e.g. rewind/savestate features in retro re-releases). Seems like a good time to remind everyone that difficulty settings are, in fact, accessibility features. #retrogaming

For some reason the YouTube algorithm always knows to queue up a new batch of "you're a terrible author doing everything wrong and here's why" videos at the exact same time I'm sending out a new batch of query letters. #writing

I personally nope'd out of 4e pretty early, but having "Bloodied" as a keyword for a combatant who is at 50% or lower HP is very useful for all kinds of reasons. I also have a weird fondness for the 2e maneuverability class rules for flying creatures, but nobody's perfect.
