The thing about Supernatural is that you can never get away from it. Every black car could be an impala, every strange noise is something Dean could scare off. Buying salt means looking at the boxes and wondering if they used iodized, pickling, or kosher. And we won’t mention angel ornaments.

I’m a family caregiver. Every year I try to geographically get away for a few days to catch my breath and re-set my spirit. It’s a reminder that the world exists outside of the things that weary my heart. Today is home day and I can’t wait to see everyone again. I’m ready for the next round.

There is no way Jack would have left Cas in the empty. That was never in his nature. Six years out, I’m still not convinced. It just took me that long to get over Sam’s wig.
