I spend more time adding to my TBR and watch list than actually reading and watching. Will I stop? No, I can never stop, and if you have any recommendations, my lists always have room for more titles!

It's always funny when authors will try to paint Persephone as if she's only sweet and fragile with her little flowers. Girl was the mistress of the Furies and meted out her own punishments regularly. She was Queen of the Underworld and was as respected and feared as Hades himself.

Found this booktuber who admits they can't get into TikTok or BookTok and yet still has a whole series reacting to BookTok. I understand the cringe that is BookTok, as a longtime scroller, very rare poster, but to have someone outside poke fun to get clicks feels icky to me.

I got approved for the eARC of The Blood Phoenix by Amber Chen! I honestly did not expect that at all because I'm still working in improving my NetGalley percentage. So be audacious! Have the nerve! Ask for what you want. The answer might be no, but there's still a 50% chance of a yes

is Jansport the new Champion? Because why are these basic backpacks made with the flimsiest of fabrics so expensive? And the "exclusive Twilight Bella Swan" bag is just a plain Jansport? They haven't changed anything about the way they look in years except for the price 👀

It's important to branch out and try new authors. At the same time, it's not required to spend money to try these new authors. Libraries, book swaps, free little libraries, Bookbub (has some free ebooks) are just a few options to sample a broader range of books without breaking your budget

Currently reading You May Now Kill the Bride by Kate Weston. Why does it seem like a contest between the childhood friend group of 5 (including Tansy from flashbacks) to see who can be the worst human ever? Like even as adults, they're all just terrible people?

The whole situation with Fable and their response to the reader summaries is giving both "AI will be AI" and "well, damn, Jackie, I can't control the AI" Because regardless of what generated them, no human eyes saw them before they went live? Where was the QC?
