By law and tradition, the DOJ is supposed to operate as an independent law enforcement body that serves the Constitution and the American people โ not the personal or political interests of the sitting president. The corruption during Trumpโs presidency is staggering, protecting the criminals.
#Patriotism: Love of core values, freedom, and fellow citizens. Accepts the country's faults and works to fix them. Respects other nations and seeks peace. Often defensive and calm.
#Nationalism: Pride in superiority, power, and dominance over others. Demands blind loyalty and ignores wrongdoing. Views outsiders with suspicion or hostility. Often aggressive and political.
Of course most educated people already knew that but itโs always nice when itโs backed up by research.

Just a reminder: The last time a president appointed an attorney he had personal ties to, was when Nixon appointed his law partner and campaign manager John Mitchell. Mitchell ended up disbarred and spent 2 yrs in prison for his role as AG protecting Nixon.
