It's always fun when you're just about to fall asleep and the power goes out, thus causing your CPAP to shut off all of a sudden. Thankfully the City is working to repair a downed power line just up the hill from my place, but the missus and I snore like dueling sawmills without our CPAPs.
ESPN's mid-season MLB grades are out, and @mariners.com got a C grade, mostly because good pitching is countered by an awful offense. That said, the only grade the M's ever deserve is "C" for "cursed".

If there's one thing I hate, it's scammers trying to use the suffering of others for their own gain. My heart breaks at the tragedy caused by genocidal monsters, but randos posting the same (likely stolen) pics and pleas over and over again on multiple burner accounts makes me get out the banhammer.

I fail to understand the "furor" about the possibility of the Chicago Bears moving to Hammond, Indiana. Hammond is solidly within the Chicagoland metro, and less than thirty miles from the city center - about the same distance Foxborough is from Boston, and 15mi closer than SF is to Santa Clara.
