Two such different politicians, both hugely influential at Court (and in government) sharing a death day: John Hervey, Lord Hervey (d. 1743) and Frederick North, Lord North, by then 2nd earl of Guilford (d. 1792). Hervey didn't live to inherit the earldom of Bristol; North got his for just 2 years.
