Banned books week ends tomorrow! It is insane the number of books that have been banned or challenged in school/public libraries. The ALA is a wonderful resource to see what has been challenged and why. Visit your libraries, support these books, and purchase them at your local indie bookstores!

I'm throwing the Canadian love out there for I would not be here if not for my grandparents, whom were both born in Canada. I don't have their pics on my computer so I will go with John Candy in a hockey locker room FTW! Elbows up!

Photo of the late actor John Candy smiling, wearing a suit and tie, while standing in a hockey locker room.

Three glorious people (Stef, Roger, and Stella) started a trivia server on MSN called ChatGames. Man we had fun playing, participated in all night shenanigans, had in person meets in the US and UK, and made amazing friends. Three of the gang actually made it on Jeopardy! Miss my CG peeps dearly.
